I think it's okay for people to randomly use foriegn words IF they're know/are learning the language. I mean, using it because it's in your favorite anime KILLS BRAIN CELLS!

People really do that? I would think that the entire population of the world knows what 'kawaii' means by now (whether they wanted to know or not...)

IRC is pretty much (and this is a super basic definition) a chatting program, where the rooms are "channels" and such. You can actually download stuff and see some super neat things from there, but learning to use it is super tough (I've tried and long forgotten the lingo)... which kinda says something about people that use it everyday. (No offence... but seriously) Memes are just the fads that start on IRC, like a bunch of idiots that decided that "o rly? ya rly!" sounded funny. Next thing we know: INVASION. A bunch of stuff you'll see online started either on IRC or on 4chan, a site I beg you not to go to.

...But I'm an internet loser too and that's why I know this stuff. -_-'

Yeah. I had to sit through a relatively ok fanfic that did that. "Footnote: Oh, silly reader, OBVIOUSLY you must have no clue that BAKA means STUPID!!!" ...Then I shot myself.
